110 East is the firstborn child of South End.

We were looking to find a way that employers could attract top talent with amenities that provided maybe a little more of a hospitality touch to the building.

There are certainly other buildings here, but this one is very unique and very special.

I think the largest pain point for a tenant is ensuring that you have uninterrupted connectivity in the building. You need to be able to do everything from your phone.

Tenants will not move into a commercial real estate space unless there is cellular connectivity from the start of your experience in the parking garage all the way up to your office.

You need to be able to continue with the meeting that you started out on the highway, into the garage, up the elevator, and until you get to your office without that call being dropped.

Our election to go with CTS on this project, a large part of that decision was based on the ability to guarantee signal. CTS creates cell sites within buildings.

When we met, they expressed to us their concerns, their risk, and their needs. They wanted a guaranteed signal source. They wanted a guaranteed on-air date. They did not want to build a system that did not work.

Traditionally, we have installed passive DAS systems and antenna repeater systems, and for a number of years, that would, quote unquote, check the box.

But as of late, on some previous projects, we have learned that those systems are only as good as the source that we are pulling from out at the street.

This building is going to go from 1,000 to 5,000 people, and the system has the ability to scale to its needs.

We can actually acquire the same signal source that a carrier would provide to you. So we can guarantee three-carrier signal source with our Forté solution.

There is all this technology inside of a building these days that those systems need to operate off of and have strong cellular signal.

This has become that fourth utility.

CTS was able to maintain our original budget for day-one original scope, with no change orders, and we completed the project on schedule. The installation process was very smooth.

Communication was probably the best I have seen from a contractor as far as the schedule, regular updates, and proactiveness.

The quality of the install was, bar none, some of the best I have ever seen.

The CTS field crews take a tremendous amount of pride in their craftsmanship and work product.

I am super proud about the fact that Stiles and CTS worked together to develop a solution and get a solution installed for them that met their needs, that was on budget, that was on time, and that was on air before the first tenant even came into the building.
